About

Indoff stands for industry and the office. We are commercial and industrial product distributors for manufacturers located throughout North America.

Most of the companies we represent have internal sales folks; others do not. These manufacturers produce a huge range of components designed for the interior and exterior of business. I design commercial areas of furniture and material handling such as offices, cubicles, conference rooms, in-plant buildings, pallet racks, and production tables (just to name a few).

We have a process where we: Discover ~ Design ~ Source ~ Install

(1) Meet and Discover your needs
(2) Design 2D and 3D plans
(3) Source your needs and provide a baseline budget that matches your needs and then we can offer options to either increase the style or quality or reduce overall costs
(4) Install your project or work with you on the installation.

Indoff is a good example of a single use sourcing company. This means that our customers enjoy working with just one consultant, instead of numerous, on a variety of projects and combined brands. Our customers also enjoy multiple quote comparisons for any project.

This work is time intensive and sometimes quotes can take days, or weeks, to complete; we provide an engineered solution.

My personal approach to all of this is cross-functional. By definition, this means that I work with a large group of people -- all with different functional expertise -- and all working toward common goals. This includes end-users, middle managers, executive staff, building contractors, electricians, and architects.

This job requires someone who can work with all of these groups at the same time, bringing them together on decisions. It's a management style that includes multiple stakeholders with diverse roles, skill-sets, and incentives.

As a driven project manager and certified Ergonomist, I have a history of success in long and short term project cycles for Commercial Interior and Warehouse Products.

Words like: Remodels, Reconfigurations, Purchasing, Specialty Needs, Branding Renewal, all represent key words that encompass my job description.

I primarily serve Linn, Lane, Coos, Douglas, Deschutes, and Marion Counties in Oregon; however, I also serve national clients located throughout the United States.

"The spaces we design have a lot of complexity; therefore, the furnishings have many custom details and finishes that need selected. Ron always keeps pace with me when working through the myriad of details to finalize selections and finishes. And, most importantly, when it is time to place the order -- everything is correct. I appreciate this as errors of this kind can be costly and disrupt the client relationship."

I look forward to getting to know you -- how I can best support your interests -- and the requirements of your project.

Expertise

Commercial furniture space planning, design, sales, installation, and project management.

Material handling space planning for production lines, pallet racks, shipping facilities, conveyor systems and project management.

Certifications

As a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist Grade 1 (CEAS 1), I custom design electric height adjustable desks, create work stations, fit people to task chairs, hoists, tools, tables, and other prescribed products to help prevent musculoskeletal disorders.

We now know that sitting in a chair for 8-12 hours a day has certain and predictable negative health effects. Musculoskeletal disorders are soft tissue injuries most often created by repetition and manifest in the neck, shoulders, arms, wrists and hands. These kinds of problems can go untreated for your entire career and sadly, are likely to become most problematic when you retire and are gone from the business.
