These lines are Acton and NIMA® . They each are part of a product “family” filling multiple seating functions while delivering a cohesive aesthetic. Primarily “Made in America”, they are assembled, finished (including upholstered) and shipped from Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
NIMA®
The NIMA® line of flex back seating was designed by Giancarlo Piretti, “the man behind the flex”. Typical of Piretti designs, the NIMA seating family is an exquisite blend of engineering and elegance. Piretti’s patented articulating back mechanism assures just the right amount of flex. While his commitment to creative minimalism has resulted in a line of chairs that are as arresting to look at as they are comfortable to sit in. As Giancarlo says, “you must see this chair”.
The Original Acton Stacker®
Created by award-winning designer Hugh Acton, The Original Acton Stacker® is recognized as one of the most versatile chairs in its’ class. The Acton seating line features an ergonomically sculpted seat and back which provide comfort even after long hours of sitting. The Acton Stacker’s unique Z-shape frame is simple, compact, strong and durable, which helps explain why this chair has been popular for decades. The Acton Stacker and its siblings are found on campuses, military bases, centers of worship and anywhere people gather. There are both upholstered and plastic options.

Tom joined Indoff in 2009 as a Sales Partner, bringing over a decade of valuable experience in office supplies, promotional products, and commercial interiors. In 2024, Tom was promoted to Vice President of Business Development, where he leads Indoff’s Strategic Sales initiative to help shape the company’s long-term growth. As a certified leadership coach, Tom collaborates closely with Indoff’s Partners, providing strategic planning and personalized guidance to help them build strong businesses. Tom’s leadership and coaching expertise are instrumental in ensuring Indoff remains a leading provider of business solutions nationwide.

Josh joined Indoff in 2013 as part of the acquisition of Allied Appliance and was paramount to Indoff’s acquisition of Absocold, a manufacturer of refrigerators and microwaves, in 2017. In 2025, Josh was promoted to President of Indoff, where he collaborates closely with Indoff’s Partners and Marketing department to develop and implement strategies that enhance the Indoff brand. Josh’s leadership and industry knowledge are instrumental in ensuring Indoff remains a leading provider of business solutions nationwide.
