Material Handling to me covers processes from the arrival of raw materials or components at the receiving dock to shipping of finished goods from the shipping dock - covering dock lifts, pallet jacks, pallet racking, conveyors, lifts, work station cranes, modular offices and mezzanines.
I have been in the material handling industry for 39 years. I started in the automotive industry laying out parts departments, installing shelving and mezzanines. I have done grocery distribution centers around the country. As time has progressed, I have served many industries - healthcare, heavy and light manufacturing, assembly and distribution are just a few. We are more problem solving and project oriented; integrating a range of products and equipment to help our customers achieve their goals.
