Nationwide distributor needs web developer to design and develop multiple e-commerce sites for the entire product life-cycle. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong knowledge of LAMP stack, web usability and a good understanding of SEM principles. Required Skills - 5+ years of web development experience utilizing php, perl or mod_perl
- Proficient in SQL and database schema design
- Comfortable in a mixed Linus/Windows environment
- Strong understanding of CSS, XHTML, XML, Javascript and http
- Proficient with Apache/MySQL
- Good communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
Additionally, the following skills are desired but not required - Knowledge of version control system (CVS/SVN)
- Oracle OneWorld familiarity (formerly JDEdwards/PeopleSoft)
- MSSQL Server 2000
- Javascript/Ajax Frameworks
