Indoff takes on social media by joining multiple platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest.

Joining Facebook was Indoff’s first initiative to engage with peers. Sharing case studies and pictures and hosting contests are a few of the tactics Indoff has used to bring more awareness to their brand. A contest is held each month to spotlight a product from one of Indoff’s vendors, helping to promote Indoff and the vendor alike.

Seeking prospects, networking and connecting with prospective Partners has made LinkedIn a successful tool for Indoff.

“LinkedIn is where professionals interested in new opportunities gather, so it is a natural place for us to tell our story,” says Angela Suntrup, Indoff’s national marketing manager.

In 2012, Indoff has hired five Sales Partners from LinkedIn alone.

Twitter and Pinterest are the two most recent outlets Indoff has taken on. Twitter helps Indoff get a quick message out, typically co-promoting a vendor, while Pinterest displays photos of products each of the divisions has to offer.

To assist Sales Partners and keep up with the ever changing trends, Indoff brought on social media coordinator, Krista Fisher.

“Social media is a fun yet challenging process,” Fisher says. “Indoff has embraced this new communication strategy and I am eager to give Indoff the consistent presence it needs to build ongoing relationships with Sales Partners and vendors.”

Along with many Sales Partners, Indoff’s president, Jim Malkus, has joined social media.

"Indoff's great strength is the experience, resourcefulness and knowledge of our Sales Partners and social media presents the perfect platform for us to showcase these talents."
